Calling all Antique Lovers...

Aurel Bacs, the International Director of the watch Department at Christie's auction house explains the mechanism of a VERY INTERESTING and RARE (a pair of SINGING BIRD - pistols) with an estimated value of $5 million. (SOLD for $5.8 Million)


After a 10-minute fight that was described as an "epic bidding war" the pair of singing-bird pistols were sold for $5.8 million at a Christie's International sale in Hong Kong on May 29 of this year.

  1. Christies and other auctioneers are business, not art collections. They love to drive prices high on exotic tingel-tangel.

    If you can sell a famous painting for X+20 million $$ then why sell it to a museum for only X$$?

    Apparently there are a lot of people in the world who have earned too much money and who want to buy something beautiful, something which other people will admire.
