The Best Bet in town.... A scrumptious lunch and listening to Stephanie Edwards all for only $40
I've attended numerous Valentine's luncheons but today's luncheon at the Adventist Hospital in Glendale with lovely Stephanie Edwards as the key note speaker was a knockout. By telling many nice stories she painted an everlasting picture in our head about the importance of volunteering. I was in charge of selling raffle tickets. Her talk was so powerful that all of those who had or had not bought raffle tickets opened their valets again and bought more tickets. The yummy food was catered by an Armenian restaurant. And as a token of appreciation everybody received a beautiful scarf. I can definitely have a use for that scarf.
